About VIDEBehaviour is the new perspective.
VIDE is a behavioural science consultancy founded by Chiara Gericke and Maria Lunetto.
Seeing differently.
VIDE means “to see”.
We look beyond the obvious. By viewing familiar challenges through the lens of human behaviour, we uncover what shapes how people act, and where change is possible.
Where we started.
We met five years ago as researchers at UCL’s Centre for Behaviour Change, working on real behaviour-change projects with local authorities across the UK. It was during that time that we first decided we wanted to build our own behavioural science consultancy.
Since then, we’ve spent five years building the experience behind it, across research, university teaching, consultancy and client work, while growing our portfolio and refining how we apply behavioural science to real-world challenges.
VIDE is the result of those five years: a female-founded consultancy built on the methods we’ve tested, the lessons we’ve learned and the kind of work we always wanted to do. We also want to use what we build to support and create opportunities for other women in behavioural science.

Chiara Gericke
Co-Founder
Chiara is a behavioural scientist and PhD researcher at UCL, with over five years of academic and applied research experience and a background spanning consultancy, healthcare, policy and behavioural science. She has worked with organisations including UCL, the NHS, the House of Commons and the United Nations, alongside experience in private-sector behavioural consultancy.
Her work combines behavioural science with quantitative analysis, coding and systems thinking. She is particularly interested in efficiency: understanding where processes, environments and organisational systems create friction, and how changing the context around people can make desired behaviours easier and more likely.
Chiara has authored or contributed to research published across behavioural science, public health and healthcare, including work in The Lancet, Frontiers in Public Health and Diabetic Medicine. She regularly teaches behavioural science at UCL and the University of Oxford and has delivered 15+ invited talks and conference presentations, from academic conferences to the United Nations General Assembly.

Expert Network
Over the past five years, we’ve built a trusted network of PhD-level behavioural scientists, researchers and subject-matter experts across sectors including AI, technology, sustainability, health, finance, public policy and organisational behaviour.
When a project needs specialist sector knowledge, we bring in the right person, giving clients access to deep expertise without the layers of a large consultancy.
The best work happens together
We're a small consultancy by choice.
It means the people you meet are the people doing the work. We work closely with our clients, bring in additional expertise when a project calls for it, and stay involved from the first question through to the final recommendation.
We take the science seriously.
We just don't think it needs to feel complicated.
01
We work collaboratively and bring in the right perspectives and specialisms when a project needs them.
Expertise where it matters
02
We use evidence carefully and honestly, while keeping the work practical enough to use in the real world.
Rigorous, not rigid
03
Our work doesn’t end with a recommendation. We help turn behavioural insight into action, implementation and measurable change.
